Digitally Competent Educators Study Modules

The Digitally Competent Educators short learning programme is designed to respond to educators' need for digital competences specific to their profession. Familiarise yourself with the course content and join in!

This European Short Learning Programme (E-SLP) comprises three 5 ECTS courses which will develop your digital pedagogic competence in teaching and learning. These courses are suitable for educators who work in all levels of education.

Studying online

The courses are on the Moodle learning platform. All course materials (online lectures, videos, assignments, activities, readings) are available for the entire duration of the course.

During the courses you will:

  • watch online lectures
  • read course materials
  • have online assignments
  • participate in group discussions
  • write self-evaluation report/e-portfolio

You will study both independently and with the other course participants. You can share your experience with others and you learn from others at the same time.

You don't need to be online at a specific time, but you should participate to the course regularly.

Registration and requirements

Participants are required to have basic computer skills in order to work online. Active participation and contribution are required to complete the course.

  • Each course is a 5 ECTS course.
  • The workload is estimated to be a total of 135 hours of work.
  • Courses will be assessed on the scale of A–F.
  • Guidance and support is provided throughout the course.
