Welcome to the Open University!

Open University is an independent institute at the University of Jyväskylä. We are open to everyone and have no entrance requirements. Our studies are offered mainly online and developed for adult learners. In English we offer several courses of educational themes. Our teachers support students during their studies and guidance is available when needed.

Open university studies are mostly publicly funded enabling affordable study fees. We produce almost 30 % of the open university studies in Finland. Welcome to join us!
