Service Chain for Continuous Learning to promote employment in Central Finland (UJOPK)

An education development project in Central Finland aimed at tackling issues of employment, upskilling and modelling a new service chain.

The project Service Chain for Continuous Learning to promote employment in Central Finland will create a new lifelong learning service chain for the pilot municipalities in Central Finland.

The aim is to promote employment in the region by providing short-term training that meets the needs of working life. In other words, with relevant training and career guidance, the goal is to eliminate the problem of mismatch between the skills of job-seekers and industries suffering from skilled labor shortages.

At the same time, training and career services will be brought together in the OsaajaKS service chain, which is intended to be the base of a national model in Finland.
